Predsjednik Republike Turske Recep Tayyip Erdogan je, govoreći danas na otvaranju bolnice “Tursko-albanskog prijateljstva” u albanskom gradu Fieru, poručio kako njegova zemlja teži miru, blagostanju, stabilnosti i razvoju Albanije, ali i cijelog Balkana, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Erdogan se putem video konferencije obratio na svečanom otvaranju bolnice, koja je sredstvima Republike Turske izgrađena u jugozapadnom gradu Fieru. Projekat je vrijedan 70 miliona eura.
Tom prilikom Erdogan je kazao kako Turska, u skladu s onim što nalaže bratstvo, duže od 30 godina pruža podršku albanskom socijalnom i ekonomskom razvoju.
Naglasio je da su i nakon zemljotresa u septembru i novembru 2019. godine, a i tokom pandemije koronavirusa, ne očekujući ništa zauzvrat, svim sredstvima stali uz albanski narod.
Erdogan je podsjetio da Turska u Albaniji gradi 500 stambenih jedinica kao pomoć ugroženima u razornom zemljotresu iz 2019. godine, a ovom prilikom je još jednom potvrdio da će ovaj projekat biti završen do augusta ove godine.
“Ako Bog da, do augusta ćemo zajedno dijeliti tu sreću da predamo ove stambene jedinice njihovim vlasnicima”, istakao je Erodgan.
Govoreći o bolnici “Tursko-albanskog prijateljstva” u Fieru, Erdogan je rekao kako je riječ o vrlo značajnom infrastrukturnom projektu.
Podsjetio je da je premijer Albanije Edi Rama u januaru ove godine boravio u posjeti Turskoj, tokom koje je formalizirano strateško partnerstvo između dvije zemlje. Tada je, dodao je, najavljeno da će bolnica sa 150 kreveta biti izgrađena u roku od tri mjeseca.
“Hvala Bogu danas smo ponosni što smo održali obećanje braći Albancima. Završili smo izgradnju naše bolnice za manje od tri mjeseca. Opremili smo je najmodernijim medicinskim uređajima”, rekao je Erdogan.
Kompleks bolnice prostire se na 50.000 metara kvadratnih, od čega je 17.425 zatvorenog prostora. Bolnica posjeduje šest operacijskih dvorana, šest poliklinika, 20 jedinica za intenzivnu njegu i 130 pomoćnih kreveta. Zapošljava ukupno 387 ljudi, među kojima je 56 turskih i 331 albanski zdravstveni radnik.
“Težimo miru, blagostanju, stabilnosti i razvoju Albanije, ali i cijelog Balkana. Oni koji Tursku vide kao prijetnju ili konkurenciju i djeluju samo na temelju vlastitih interesa, padaju u tešku zabludu”, kazao je Erdogan, naglašavajući kako je danas otvorena bolnica još jedna halka u višedimenzionalnom prijateljstvu Turske i Albanije.
Erdogan je zahvalio albanskom premijeru Rami, ministru zdravstva Turske Fahrettinu Koci te firmi izvođaču radova ove bolnice.
