EU: Glorifikovanje ratnih zločinaca protivno evropskim vrijednostima
Savjet Opštine Berane je prihvatio prijedlog da jedna ulica bude nazvana po Ratku Mladiću, bivšem komandantu Vojske RS-a, osuđenom za genocid.
Portparolka Evropske komisije Ana Pisonero je povodom prijedloga da ulica u crnogorskom gradu Berane bude nazvana po Ratku Mladiću, osuđenom za genocid u Srebrebnici, izjavila da su “glorifikovanje ratnih zločinaca, revizionizam i negiranje dokumentovanih i utvrđenih činjenica o ratnim događajima, uključujući ratne zločine, u suprotnosti s najosnovnijim evropskim vrijednostima”.
“EU očekuje od političkih lidera, uključujući one na lokalnom nivou, da poštuju žrtve konflikata i da iskreno afirmišu demokratiju, pravdu i pomirenje na Zapadnom Balkanu”, rekla je Pisonero za Glas Amerike, prenijela je novinska agencija Beta.
Savjet Opštine Berane za davanje naziva naseljima, ulicama i trgovima je većinom glasova prihvatio prijedlog “Srpskog monarhističkog pokreta” da jedna ulica bude nazvana po Mladiću, bivšem komandantu Vojske Republike Srpske.
Opština Berane je danas saopštila da Savjet ne donosi odluke, već isključivo prihvata i konstatuje prijedloge pojedinaca, grupa građana ili udruženja, odnosno svih u javnoj raspravi.
Nepravosnažno osuđen na doživotni zatvor
Mladića je Haški tribunal nepravosnažno osudio na doživotni zatvor pošto ga je proglasio krivim za genocid u Srebrenici, progon muslimana i Hrvata širom BiH, terorisanje stanovništva Sarajeva dugotrajnim granatiranjem i snajperisanjem i za uzimanje pripadnika UNPROFOR-a za taoce, tokom rata u BiH.
Oslobođen je optužbe za genocid u još šest opština u BiH, a na tu presudu žalbu su uložili i branioci i tužioci.IZVOR : AGENCIJE
