Evropski parlament izglasao rezoluciju: Osudili Rusiju, priznata evropska perspektiva Ukrajine
Evropski parlament je izglasao rezoluciju kojom se pozivaju institucije Evropske unije da rade na davanju statusa Ukrajine statusa kandidata za članstvo u Evropskoj uniji, čime se priznaje evropska perspektiva Ukrajine.
Dokument pod nazivom “Ruska agresija na Ukrajinu” izglasan je u utorak u okviru vanrednog sastanka Evropskog parlamenta, sazvanog zbog ruske agresije na Ukrajinu. Za je glasalo 637, 13 je bilo protiv, a 26 suzdržano.
Evropski parlament poziva institucije EU-a da rade na davanju statusa Ukrajine kandidata za EU u skladu sa članom 49. Ugovora o Evropskoj uniji i na osnovu zasluga, au međuvremenu nastavljaju raditi na njenoj integraciji u jedinstveno tržište EU u u skladu sa Sporazumom o pridruživanju, navodi se u rezoluciji, prenosi Interfax.
U usvojenoj rezoluciji se osuđuje napad ruske vojske na Ukrajinu i podržavaju snažne mjere za vršenje pritiska na rusku Vladu da zaustavi rat i povuče svoje snage.
Kako su prethodno javili mediji, u prijedlogu rezolucije se osuđuju oni koji su izrazili podršku Rusiji nakon njene agresije na Ukrajinu, te je pomenuta Srbija, i pohvaljuje se podrška zemalja Zapadnog Balkana koje su euroatlantski saveznici.
