Finski parlament danas diskutuje o mogućem ulasku u NATO
Finski zastupnici će danas raspravljati o tome kako postupati s peticijom kojom se poziva na glasanje o članstvu u NATO-u, jer je ona pokazala historijsku promjenu stava u tradicionalno nesvrstanoj zemlji nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu.
Premijerka Sanna Marin izjavila je u ponedjeljak navečer da će planirana debata u parlamentu sljedećeg dana obuhvatiti situaciju u Ukrajini i nije zamišljena kao “širi razgovor o politici Finske u vezi s vojnim (ne)svrstavanjem”.
Međutim, dodala je da, budući da je peticija građana kojom se traži rasprava u parlamentu o referendumu dostigla potrebnih 50.000 potpisnika da bi se pokrenula debata u parlamentu, “ima smisla čuti stavove stranaka o rješavanju ovog pitanja”.
“Iz ove perspektive, to će se pitanje naći u sutrašnjoj parlamentarnoj raspravi”, rekao je Marin.
Peticija, kojom se poziva na referendum o članstvu, pokrenuta je prošlog ponedjeljka i do kraja sedmice dostigla ciljanih 50.000.
Diskusija također dolazi nakon ankete koju je u ponedjeljak objavila javna televizija Yle, koja pokazuje da je većina Finaca sada za ulazak u NATO, prema anketi objavljenoj u ponedjeljak. Historijska promjena u stavu i velika promjena u poređenju sa mišljenjem javnosti samo nekoliko mjeseci prije.
Prema istraživanju, koje je naručila javna televizija Yle, 53 posto Finaca podržava ulazak zemlje u vojnu alijansu, 28 posto se protivi tome, a 19 posto nije sigurno.
“Potpuno historijski i izuzetan rezultat,” rekao je Charly Salonius-Pasternak, viši naučni saradnik na Finskom institutu za međunarodne poslove.
