Gradonačelnik primio regionalne prvake – predstavnike KIK “Zmaj”
Košarkaški invalidski klub „Zmaj“ Gradačac protekle sedmice postao je prvak regionalne košarkaške NLB Wheel lige. Uzbudljiva finalna utakmica održana je u subotu, 13.02.2021. godine, u Banjoj Luci između Košarkaškog kluba invalida „Vrbas“ iz Banje Luke i „Zmaja“ iz Gradačca. U veoma uzbudljivoj i do kraja rezultatski neizvjesnoj utakmici Zmajevi su savladali favoriziranu ekipu „Vrbas“ iz Banja Luke.
Tim povodom gradonačelnik Edis Dervišagić je upriličio prijem za najtrofejniji gradačački sportski kolektiv Košarkaški invalidski klub “Zmaj” te čestitao igračima i upravi na ovako važnom sportskom podvigu ne samo za Gradačac nego i za čitavu Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Zahvalio se na pozitivnoj promociji sporta i Gradačca i izrazio nadu da će se ova uspješna saradnja između kluba i Grada nastaviti i u narednom periodu.
Ovo je prvi trofej za ekipu KIK „Zmaj“ na ovom prestižnom regionalnom takmičenju. Najefikasniji u pohodu na pobjednički pehar bio je trener i igrač Arnel Mulić sa 43 poena. Po riječima učesnika finalnog takmičenja, ovo je jedna od najbolje odigranih utakmica za pehar NLB Wheel lige u kojoj je ekipa Vrbasa do sada pobijedila šest puta.
