Granična policija BiH i SIPA dobijaju 63 nova vozila i specijalizovanu opremu
U Sarajevu će sutra biti održana ceremonija primopredaje donacije EU od 63 vozila i specijalizovane opreme za Graničnu policiju i Agenciju za istrage i zaštitu BiH (SIPA).
Graničnoj policiji BiH biće uručeni ključevi 35 kombija i 12 SUV vozila u vrijednosti više od tri miliona KM.
Osim toga, bit će isporučena i dodatna oprema za nesmetano obavljanje zadataka, u skladu sa identifikovanim potrebama službenika.
“Ova donacija će znatno unaprijediti rad policijskih službenika i omogućiti im brže djelovanje i mobilniji rad na terenu”, saopćeno je iz Međunarodne organizacije za migracije.
EU je SIPA-i obezbijedila 16 terenskih vozila i specijalizovane uniforme za službenike, čija je ukupna vrijednosti veća od 460.000 KM.
Sredstva za projekat “EU podrška upravljanju migracijama i granicom u BiH” su obezbijeđena kroz posebnu mjeru Instrumenta za pretpristupnu pomoć.
Projekat implementira IOM u partnerstvu sa UNHCR-om, UNICEF-om, UNFPA-om i Danskim vijećem za izbjeglice.
Nakon ceremonije medijima će se obratiti ministar bezbjednosti u Savjetu ministara Selmo Cikotić, šef Delegacije EU u BiH Johan Satler, subregionalni koordinator za zapadni Balkan i šef Misije IOM-a u BiH Laura Lungaroti, direktor Granične policije BiH Zoran Galić i zamjenik direktora Sipe Đuro Knežević.
