I jutros razmjena vatre između Izraela i Palestinaca, odjekuju eksplozije
ESKALACIJA SUKOBA
Palestinci su nastavili raketnu paljbu na Izrael, a vojska je jutros odgovorila zračnim udarima na Gazu u dramatičnoj eskalaciji sukoba u Jerusalemu.
Eksplozije su potresle objekte u cijeloj Gazi i oglasile su se sirene za raketnu opasnost, a mnogi Izraelci su noć proveli u skloništima.
Palestinski zvaničnici su rekli da su poginula dva Palestinca, a više od 100 ih je povrijeđeno u zračnim udarima. U raketnim napadima je povrijeđeno šest Izraelaca.
Palestinski medicinski zvaničnici rekli su jučer da je u Gazi poginulo 22 ljudi, uključujući devetero djece. Izraelska vojska saopćila je da su ubijena najmanje tri pripadnika grupe Hamas.
Iz Gaze jučer su pokrenuli raketni udari na područje Jerusalema, prvi put od rata 2014. godine, čime su prešli, kako je rekao premijer Izraela Benjamin Netanjahu, “crvenu liniju”.
Eskalacija sukoba počela je protestima ispred džamije Al-Aqsa u srcu Starog grada u Jerusalemu tokom obilježavanja Dana Jerusalema.
Palestinski Crveni polumjesec saopćio je da je više od 300 Palestinaca povrijeđeno u sukobima s izraelskom policijom, koja je ispaljivala gumene metke, šok bombe i suzavac. Policija je saopćila da je ovim sukobima ranjen 21 policajac.
Iako su protesti sinoć donekle utihnuli, ostala su druga žarišta tenzija kao što je kvart Šeik Džarah u Istočnom Jerusalemu, sjeverno od Starog grada, gdje se nekoliko palestinskih porodica suočava s deložacijom iz kuća na koje pravo polažu i jevrejski naseljenici.
Hamas je sinoć postavio rok za Izrael da povuče policiju ispred džamije Al-Aqsa i kvarta Šeik Džarah. Kada je rok istekao začule su se sirene u Jerusalemu i uslijedio je raketni napad na predgrađa.
