Izetbegović razgovarao sa Escobarom: Pokušaj nasrtaja na ustavno-pravni poredak BiH je neprihvatljiv

Bakir Izetbegović, predsjednik Stranke demokratske akcije (SDA) i predsjedavajući Doma naroda PSBiH, razgovarao je danas sa Gabrielom Escobarom, zamjenikom državnog sekretara SAD i izaslanikom State Departmenta za Zapadni Balkan, o aktuelnoj situaciji u Bosni i Hercegovini.

Zajednički je ocijenjeno je da su blokade državnih institucija i pokušaj nasrtaja na ustavno-pravni poredak BiH neprihvatljivi, te da ugrožavaju stabilnost BiH.

Escobar je tokom razgovora naglasio da Sjedinjene Američke Države (SAD) čvrsto stoje uz Bosnu i Hercegovinu i njen teritorijalni integritet i suverenitet.

Istaknuo je da će SAD snažno podržati reforme koje Bosnu i Hercegovinu približavaju Evropskoj uniji, te da se uz to mogu očekivati i značajnije američke investicije u našoj zemlji.

Izetbegović i Escobar su se usaglasili da se tokom posjete američkih investitora, koja se učekuje u narednom periodu, predstave potencijali BiH i projekti koji bi mogli biti od obostranog interesa.

U dijelu razgovora o reformi izbornog zakonodavstva, Izetbegović je prenio stavove SDA, naglašavajući da je neophodno napraviti kompromis kako bi se postigao balans etničkog i građanskog principa. Potcrtao je da u tom kompromisu sve zainteresirane strane, uključujući i HDZ, moraju nešto dati da bi nešto dobile. Izetbegović je istaknuo da izborna reforma mora uključiti i izmjene Ustava BiH i Ustava FBiH, te da, stoga, u dogovoru moraju učestvovati sve parlamentarne stranke, kako bi se osigurala neophodna dvotrećinska podrška.

Izetbegović je tokom prošle sedmice o ovim temama razgovarao i sa izaslanikom SAD-a za izbornu reformu u BiH Matthewom Palmerom i direktoricom za Zapadnu Evropu, Zapadni Balkan, Tursku i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo u Evropskoj službi za vanjske poslove (EEAS) Angelinom Eichhorst.
