Izraelska vojska je saopćila da nastavlja s napadima na Gazu avionima, tenkovima i artiljerijom.
Poginulo je četvero Palestinca, od kojih su trojica borci Hamasa, prenosi Al Jazeera.
U saopćenju izraelske vojske se navodi da je na vojna uporišta Hamasa avionima i tenkovima pokrenut napad širih razmjera.
Dodaje se da je izraelska vojska u stanju visoke pripravnosti.
– Hamas je odlučio da tenzije eskaliraju i zato će snositi posljedice. Izraelska vojska sada izvodi napad na različita mjesta (u Gazi) – navodi se u saopćenju.
Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu se nalazi u komandi Generalštaba Oružanih snaga Izraela u Tel Avivu odakle prati odvijanje akcije napada.
Najmanje 142 palestinska demonstranta su ubijena, a 16.496 njih je ranjeno u intervencijama izraelskih snaga sigurnosti od početka masovnih palestinskih protesta koji su na granici Gaze počeli 30. marta.
