Izraelska vojska i jutros izvodi žestoke topničke i zračne udare na Gazu
Gaza se rano jutros našla pod jakom artiljerijskom paljbom. Dopisnik CNN-a iz Gaze izvijestio je o topničkom, kao i o desecima zračnih napada.
Izraelska vojska je sinoć objavila da je pokrenula kopnenu operaciju prema Pojasu Gaze i da su izraelske trupe ušle u Gazu. No, nekoliko sati kasnije objavili su kako “trenutno nema izraelskih kopnenih snaga unutar pojasa Gaze” te su poručili kako se nastavljaju zračni i kopneni napadi na ciljeve u Gazi.
Dužnosnici Ujedinjenih nacija unutar Gaze kazali su kako je na desetke ljudi napustilo svoje domove na sjeveru i istoku enklave te potražilo utočište u školama koje pripadaju UN-ovoj agenciji za pomoć palestinskim izbjeglicama. Samo nekoliko kilometara dalje u skloništa su bježali i stanovnici izraelskog grada Aškelona, dok su sirene najavljivale novi zračni napad, piše Hina.
Iz Gaze su od ponedjeljka ispalili više od 1.750 raketa prema Izraelu, no mnoge je presreo izraelski odbrambeni sistem “Gvozdena kupola”. Izrael je odgovorio razornim zračnim napadima na Gazu pri čemu je do sada ubijeno najmanje 109 ljudi, uključujući 28 djece i 15 žena.
Izraelska vojska rasporedila je tenkove i druga oklopna vozila duž barijere koja odvaja Izrael od palestinske enklave. Tokom večeri Izrael je izvršio veliki zračni napad na položaje u Gazi. Hamas je objavio da je Izrael napao Pojas Gaze sa 150 zračnih udara u nekoliko minuta.
