Danas je u prostorijama konferencijske sale u dvorani Gradačačkog sajma, svečano obilježena 68. godišnjica postojanja Gimnazije u Gradačcu.
U prisustvu mnogobrojnih zvanica, sadašnjih i bivših učenika ove škole, profesora, predstavnika Općine, kao i gostiju iz inostranstva upriličen je prigodan program, koji su za prisutne pripremili učenici ove škole.
Direktorica Gimnazije Fikreta Čobo, istakla je da rad Gimnaziju prati 20. godina i da je sretna da ova ustanova iz godine u godinu napreduje u boljem smjeru: „Ponosna sam na svakog našeg učenika i na sve što se radi i dešava u Gimnaziji „Mustafa Novalić“, bilo da se radi o nastvanom ili takmičarskom karakteru. Svjesni smo da sve ono što naši učenici rade, direktno se odražava i na sam uspjeh naše škole“ , rekla je direktorica Čobo.
Direktorica je dodala da prilikom upisa u Gimnaziju morate zadovoljavati određene uvjete, tako da trenutno nisu u mogućnosti upisati sve one koji bi to željeli uraditi: „U suštini nikada se nije bilo lako upisati u Gimnaziju, jer to zahtjeva kvalifikovane i dobre učenike, kao i određeni broj bodova. Bez obzira što nam djeca svakodnevno odlaze iz Bosne i Hercegovine, mi ipak moramo zadržati određene kriterijume prilikom upisa“, završila direktorica Fikreta Čobo.
Ispred Općine čestitke je uputila Nerma Hadžimuhamedović šef odsjeka za društvene djelatnosti: „ U ime Općine Gradačac želim vam poželjeti još veći napredak u godinama koje su pred nama i naravno da postižete još bolje rezultate. Gradačačka Gimnazija oduvijek bila ponos svih naših građana i kao takva prepoznata je kao jedna od najboljih na području TK“, istakla je Nerma Hadžimuhamedović.
Suzana Radovanović, profesorica tjelesnog odgoja iz Švedske, kao koordinator projekta, istakla je da je saradnja proširila poznanstva među profesorima i učenicima: „Gradačac je za mene poseban grad, a gostoprimstvo koje nam je ovdje ukazano nikada nećemo zaboraviti“ , poručila je Radovanović.
Program je nastavljen muzičkom izvedbom učenika škole, Nejre Peštalić i Nahida Isića, kao i recitacijom autorskih tekstova, od kojih su neki bili posvećeni Mustafi Novaliću, koji je preminuo prije 26 goidina, a po kojem Gimnazija i nosi ime.
Zaslužnim učenicima i njihovim mentorima, koji su Gimnaziju predstavljali na najbolji način, direktorica Fikreta Čobo uručila je diplome i zahvalnice, a nakon svečanosti, prisutni su se mogli počastiti bogatim izborom tradicionalno pripremljenih jela.
