Kavazović i Schmidt: Bosanski muslimani žive evropske vrijednosti
Reisu-l-ulema Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini Husein-ef. Kavazović primio je jučer u posjetu novog Visokog predstavnika Christiana Schmidta.
Razgovaralo se o aktuelnim temama koje se tiču političke i društvene situacije Bosne i Hercegovine.
Reisu-l-ulema je podržao instituciju i rad Ureda visokog predstavnika, te je podsjetio da je Bosna i Hercegovina evropski prostor i zemlja vrijednosti, dobrote i dobrih ljudi za koje se vrijedi zalagati.
– Za rješavanje aktuelne situacije u Bosni i Hercegovini treba dobre volje i mudrosti, a najvažnije je očuvati mir i život svih građana – rekao je reisu-l-ulema.
Zatim je naglasio da je bitno voditi razgovore o državi u parlamentu, te razgovarati o odnosima u državi i uključiti akademsku zajednicu u taj razgovor. Najzad je istakao da Dejtonski mirovni sporazum treba provoditi, da je to živ dokument koji treba razvijati.
Visoki predstavnik je istakao važnu ulogu vjerskih zajednica i njenih poglavara. Istakao je ulogu pomirenja, te je predočio iskustva Njemačke s ratom i procesom pomirenja.
Visoki predstavnik se složio sa stavom reisu-l-uleme o pitanju značaja Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma.
Podvukao je da ne postoji opasnost od rata u Bosni i Hercegovini. Visoki predstavnik je također skrenuo pažnju na omladinu i njenu budućnost u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Složio se s Reisu-l-ulemom da su bosanski muslimani prepoznati po tome da žive evropske vrijednosti, poštuju sekularno uređenje i ljudska prava.
Oba sagovornika su saglasni da je dijalog na svim nivoima društva važan i da ne postoji alternativa teritorijalnom integritetu Bosne i Hercegovine.
