Konaković se pokušava pravdati nakon burnih reakcija na izjavu da će se Hrvatska pitati za izborno zakonodavstvo BiH
Ministarstvo vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine poslalo je saopćenje u kojem se pokušava popraviti šteta ranijom izjavom ministra Elmedina Konakovića koju je dao na konferenciji za medije u Zagrebu prilikom susreta sa hrvatskim ministrom Gordanom Grlićem Radmanom.
U saopćenju se, između ostalog, navodi:
– Konaković je prilikom sastanka kazao i da je svjestan kompleksnosti važnih tema o kojima se treba raspravljati, te ne sporeći bitnost odnosa ove dvije države, ipak treba unutrašnju i vanjsku politiku naše države voditi u institucijama BiH, te da je pitanje izbornog zakonodavstva i izmjene ustava isključivo unutrašnje pitanje BiH koje treba rješavati.
Saopćenje Ministarstva u kojem se ovo naglašava je uslijedilo nakon burnih reakcija u bh. javnosti zbog Konakovićeve izjave da će pitanje izborne reforme u BiH biti predmetom razgovora Vlade Hrvatske i Vijeća ministara na zajedničkoj sjednici u junu. Konaković je to kazao čak dva puta tokom konferencije za medije, jednom tokom svog uvodnog izlaganja, a drugi put odgovarajući na pitanje novinara HRT-a.
Na pitanje novinara na današnjoj konferenciji za medije upućenom Konakoviću da li se već danas razgovaralo o rješenjima u pogledu izborne reforme i kojem roku će ona biti provedena, Konaković je odgovorio:
– Danas nismo razgovarali o detaljima pomenutih tema i tempirali smo to da sa nekim konkretnim rješenjima izađemo do šestog mjeseca na ovoj zajedničkoj sjednici.Neka koja su kompleksnija neće vjerovatno ni dotad biti spremna. U koalicionom sporazumu koji smo potpisali (“Osmorka” i HDZ, op. a.) stoji rok od šest mjeseci od formiranja svih nivoa vlasti u BiH.
Od imenovanja Federalne vlade, za koju se nadam da će biti imenovana u što skorijem roku, imamo rok od šest mjeseci da pristupimo pregovorima i dogovorima o izmjenama Izbornog zakona i Ustava.
