Košarkaši BiH pobjedom nad Mađarskom započeli nastup na EP
Košarkaška reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine pobjedom nad Mađarskom započela je svoj nastup na Eurobasketu.
Zmajevi su slavili sa 95:85 i tako najavili borbu za nokaut fazu.
Utakmica je otvorena sjajnim pogotkom za tri poena od strane Džanana Muse. Potom on pogađa i nakon jedne odlične tranzicije i BiH vodi 5:2.
Mađari do svog prvog vodstva dolaze naokn tri i po minute, pošto su iskoristili to što BiH nije realizirala nekoliko vezanih napada. Od tada prednost nisu ispuštali do kraja poluvremena.
Trojkom Vojvode na polovini prve dionice Mađarska stiže do 11:5 i Bećiragić je primoran pozvati time-out. Poentersku krizu BiH prekida svojim pogocima s linije slobodnih bacanja Miralem Halilović.
Potom Nurkić sjajnom leđnom tehnikom dolazi do prvih poena na meču i smanjuje na 11:9, ali Mađari nastavljaju u dobrom ritmu i dolaze do +7 (20:13).
Potom Zmajevi zadržavaju priključak na krilima sjajnog Halilovića, koji je igrao odlično na oba kraja parketa. Ipak, prva dionica okončana je fantastičnim pogotkom Vojvode za tri poena (23:17 u korist Mađarske).
Slabo su Zmajevi otvorili drugu dionicu i Mađari brzo dolaze do čak +8, ali presjeca njihovu seriju trojkom Emir Sulejmanović.
Veoma važnu tricu potom postiže i John Roberson sredinom druge četvrtine i Zmajevi dolaze na -4 (28:32). Podigli su bh. košarkaši nivo igre u odbrani, ali u napadu su bili jako brzopleti i nisu mogli da dođu do poravnanja.
Ipak, povratkom Nurkića na teren uspijeva BiH povezati nekoliko dobrih napada i onda doći do poravnanja od 36:36. Benke je potom ubacio dvije jako važne trojke za Mađare, a poluvrijeme je ubačajem za tri zatvorio Roberson ina pauzu se otišlo s vodstvom Mađarske od 46:45.
Na startu drugog dijela Zmajevi trojkom Vrabca stižu do vodstva, ali brzo prednost vraćaju Mađari.
Do novog vodstva BiH stiže fenomenalnom akcijom Muse i Halilovića, koju je kapiten okončao zakucavanjem za 56:54! Nastavio je sa sjajnim potezima Halilović i nakon toga i donio BiH vodstvo 60:56.
Tada u igru ulazi i Nurkić, te njegovim i Musinim poenima BiH pravi sjajnu seriju kojom dolazi do 68:59! Ubrzo Zmajevi dolaze i prvi put do dvocifrene prednosti jer su koševima Nurkića poveli 70:59.
Gegićevom trojkom odlazimo na +12, a u četvrtu dionicu se ušlo s rezultatom 73:63.
Mađari su napravili seriju 5-0 u smanjili zaostatak, a to je prekinuo Musa s linije slobodnih bacanja. Nakon tehničke koja je dosuđena Hangi BiH odlazi na 82:78, ali u narednom napadu Nurkić pravi svoj 4. prekršaj i ulazi u probleme. Bilo je to na šest minuta do kraja meča.
Na drugoj strani Nurkić ubacuje dva bacanja, a onda zbog faulova izlazi iz igre. Bećiragić ga je želio sačuvati za samu završnicu susreta. Poenima Halilovića BiH na četiri i po minute do kraja stiže do 86:78.
Nastavlja se dobra serije Zmajeva zahvaljujući izvrsnoj odbrani i na tri i po minute do kraja su uspjeli prelomiti meč i povesti sa velikih 90:78.
Lagano je BiH privela meč kraju i slavila s konačnih 95:85.
Po 19 poena su ubacili Nurkić i Musa, a sjajan je bio i Roberson sa 18, dok je 16 ubacio kapiten Halilović. Kod Mađarske se sa 20 koševa istakao Benke, a 16 poena ubacio je Hanga.
