“Pozdravljamo odluku klubova koji su odlučili napustiti Superligu. Zahvaljujemo premijeru, državnom tajniku i ministru za sport na njihovoj podršci protiv ovog plana.”
22:40 – Kratkom objavom na zvaničnoj stranici, Manchester City je definitivno potvrdio da se povukao iz Superlige.

Zbog svih dešavanja ostavku je dao vodeći čovjek Manchester Uniteda Ed Woodward, a navodno je porodica Glazers odlučila nakon cijelog ovog haosa da proda Manchester United, no to su za sada nepotvđrene vijesti koje kruže internetom.
Takođe, nema potvrde, ali brojni mediji izvijestili su da je ostavku dao i predsjednik Juventusa Andrea Agnelli, koji je uz Florentina Pereza bio jedan od pokretača cijelog projekta.
