Kurti: Rusija bi mogla proširiti sukob na Zapadni Balkan uz pomoć Srbije ili RS
Premijer Kosova Albin Kurti izrazio je zabrinutost da bi regija Zapadnog Balkana mogla postati mjesto “gdje Rusija može razvijati novo rusko ratište uz pomoć svojih zastupnika, bilo da je to Srbija ili Republika Srpska u BiH”.
“Srbija želi evropski novac, ruske fondove, kineske investicije i američku toleranciju. Ali Srbija nije neutralna. Srbija je na strani Ruske Federacije, zato moramo biti na oprezu”, rekao je Kurti za CNN, te upozorio da Srbija ima “42 operativne baze oko Kosova”.
“Ne bojimo se. U budžet smo dodali 52 posto za našu odbranu. Ali u isto vrijeme moramo biti veoma oprezni, jer bi oni mogli igrati ulogu zastupnika Rusije na Zapadnom Balkanu”, dodao je.
Kurti je istakao da je tri sedmice prije nego što je Kosovo proglasilo nezavisnost 2008. godine Gazprom kupio većinu naftne industrije Srbije, te da je iste te godine Rusija aneksirala Južnu Osetiju i Abhaziju.
Također je naveo da Ministarstvo odbrane Ruske Federacije ima posebnu kancelariju u okviru Ministarstva odbrane Srbije.
“Dakle, sada nakon što je ruski blickrig u Ukrajini propao, zabrinuti smo da bi oni mogli pokušati da prošire sukob. A Zapadni Balkan bi mogao biti mjesto gdje Rusija može razvijati novo rusko ratište uz pomoć svojih zastupnika, bilo da je to Srbija ili Republika Srpska u BiH”, upozorio je Kurti.
Kurti ne smatra da bi Rusija mogla blokirati NATO put Kosova na način kako je to urađeno sa Ukrajinom.
“Mislim da nas Rusija ne može blokirati. Međutim, unutar NATO-a imamo četiri nepriznavanja naše nezavisnosti – Španija, Slovačka, Rumunija i Grčka. I nadam se da će se predomisliti i pridružiti se ostalim 26 država NATO-a koji priznaju nezavisnost Kosova i na taj način omogućiti da i mi postanemo susjedi unutar NATO-a”, rekao je premijer Kosova.
