Lavrov: Donbas je prioritet, ostali teritoriji mogu sami odlučiti
Oslobođenje ukrajinskog Donbasa je bezuslovni prioritet za Moskvu, dok bi ostale ukrajinske teritorije mogle same odlučiti o svojoj budućnosti, rekao je ruski ministar vanjskih poslova Sergej Lavrov, izvijestila je u nedjelju novinska agencija RIA.
“Oslobođenje regija Donjecka i Luganska, koje je Rusija priznala kao nezavisne države, bezuslovni je prioritet”, rekao je Lavrov u intervjuu za francuski TV kanal TF1, prenijela je ruska agencija RIA.
Što se tiče ostalih teritorija u Ukrajini, “ljudi na tim područjima bi trebali odlučivati o svojoj budućnosti”, rekao je Lavrov.
Dijelovi Donbasa su pod kontrolom separatista koje podržava Moskva, a posljednjih je dana u centru pažnje bitka za Sjeverodonjeck, koji se nalazi na istočnoj strani rijeke Siverskij Donets.
Rusi postepeno, ali kontinuirano osvajaju Donbas, koji čine regije Lugansk i Donjeck.
Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski je rekao da je vojna situacija u Donbasu vrlo zamršena, ali je odbrana vrlo jaka i uspješno odolijeva napadima na nekoliko mjesta, uključujući Sjeverodonjeck i Lisišansk.
