Mandat EUFOR-a se produžava, Schmidt se neće obratiti u UN-u
Sjednica Vijeća sigurnosti Ujedinjenih naroda trebala bi biti održana sutra a visoki predstavnik u Bosni i Hercegovini Christian Schmidt se neće obratiti kako je to prvobitno bilo planirano. Usaglašen je tekst rezolucije kojim se produžava mandat EUFOR-u.
Kako je kazao Erol Avdović, dopisnik iz Ujedinjenih naroda za medije, Rusija je dobila što je željela.
– Pregovori iza zatvorenih vrata Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a su završeni. Rusi su dobili šta su htjeli. Moskva je praktično ultimatumom zahtjevala da se visoki predstavnik ne obrati UN-u, u zamjenu da se rezolucija o produženju EUFOR-a usvoji bez njihovog veta. Tako, ćemo imati novi tekst rezolucije, koji je zapravo usaglašavan već dugo a ne samo posljednjih dana, da se OHR i visoki predstavnik nigdje ne spomenu u rezoluciji o EUFOR-u. Na kraju su izgleda i Amerikanci pristali na to iako je izgledalo da su se potrudili i da je njihova crvena linija bila – upravo zahtjev za obraćanjem Shmidta. Odlučili su se za solomonsko rješenje i izgleda da su svi sada mirni, ako već svi nisu zadovoljni, jer EUFOR ide dalje – naveo je Avdović za BHRT.
Istakao je kako Rusima i dalje odgovara oko 700 vojnika u sastavu EUFOR-a, “što je bolje nego slanje robustnijih NATO snaga”.
– Zapad je na koncu “zadovoljan”, jer vjerovatno – EU i SAD nisu u ovom trenutku bili spremni poslati više (hiljada) novih vojnika NATO-a u Bosnu i Hercegovinu, ako bi misija EUFOR-a bila okončana. A zadovoljna je izgleda i većina od 15 članica Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a, jer su bar u pisanoj formi dobili, žestoki – super realistični, Shmidtov izvještaj, o kojem sutra (3. novembra 2021) imaju pravo debatirati. To što ovog visokog predstavnika neće biti ni u New Yorku, niti na video linku iz Sarajeva – izgleda, već sada, nikog posebno ne uzbuđuje – naveo je također Avdović.
Kazao je Avdović da je ovo “neslavan i ne sasvim kredibilan početak Christiana Schmidta”.
– On je prvi visoki predstavnik kome je zabranjeno da se obrati u UN-u. Ovo je nažalost i nova retorička municija za gospodina Dodika, koju će on bez sumnje uposliti u daljnje sijanje straha i psihoze u Bosni i Hercegovini. A onda se povući kad njegov politički rok trajanja opet bude produžen. U međuvremenu stranci šute, a o sankcijama još ni riječi. Tako je to kad gospodin Schmidt kaže ja nisam Paddy Ashdown. I nije sigurno. Ili, bonske ovlasti su u fijoci. Možda ih je ipak papala maca. Odnjela Miljacka – zaključio je Avdović.
