Ruska policija privela je desetke demonstranata širom zemlje na skupovima koje su organizirali saveznici opozicionog vođe Alekseja Navaljnog zbog njegova sve goreg zdravstvenog stanja.
Pristalice najžešćeg kritičara Vladimira Putina strahuju da bi Navaljni mogao uskoro umrijeti i traže da mu se pruži odgovarajuća ljekarska pomoć.
Zvaničnici ističu da ga se liječi kao bilo kojeg drugog zatvorenika i upozoravaju da su ovakve demonstracije nezakonite.
OVD-Info, organizacija koja prati proteste i broj pritvorenih, objavio je da je 199 ljudi pritvoreno u vezi s skupovima u desecima mjesta širom zemlje.
Navaljnijeva glasnogovornica Kira Jarmiš i bliski saradnik Ljubov Sobol privedeni su u blizini svojih domova u Moskvi nekoliko sati prije početka protestnog skupa nedaleko od Kremlja.
U središte grada poslani su deseci policijskih kombija. Trg na kojem su se aktivisti planirali okupiti ograđen je metalnim preprekama kao i Crveni trg, objavio je televizijski kanal Rain.
Navaljnijevi saveznici kazali su da će se prvo okupiti na druge dvije lokacije u središtu Moskve.
