Milanović podržava kandidature Ukrajine, BiH i Kosova u EU: Poslao poruku Srbiji
Predsjednik Hrvatske Zoran Milanović smatra da Ukrajini treba dati status kandidata za članstvo u Europskoj uniji što je prije moguće.
”Nakon što mu je ponuđeno da se pridruži inicijativi predsjednika nekoliko država članica EU-a kojom se traži davanje statusa kandidata za članstvo Ukrajini, svoju podršku predsjednik Hrvatske Milanović prenio je u ponedjeljak i inicijatorima otvorenog pisma”, priopćili su iz Ureda predsjednika Hrvatske.
”Ukrajina je izložena agresiji Ruske Federacije i svi mi joj moramo pružiti svu potrebnu pomoć kao što bismo očekivali i da se nama pomogne da smo u istoj situaciji. Hrvatska ne zaboravlja da je Ukrajina bila prva međunarodno priznata država koja nas je priznala, kao i da nam je među prvima pritekla u pomoć. Rat se događa u Europi i moramo napraviti sve da se on zaustavi te da se izbjegne njegovo širenje. Ubrzani put Ukrajine u Europsku uniju jedan je od načina i to podržavamo”, naveli su.
”Spriječiti širenje krize na Zapadni Balkan”
Međutim, Milanović je iznio i svoj stav da se mora napraviti sve u cilju sprečavanja širenja krize na Zapadni Balkan, u susjedstvo i da se izbjegne svaka moguća ugroza, ne samo susjednih zemalja već i Republike Hrvatske.
‘‘Hrvatski je strateški i nacionalni interes da i zemlje jugoistočne Europe, koje su deklarirale i dokazale svoju namjeru i spremnost ulaska u EU, što prije postanu članice Europske unije”, stav je predsjednika države.
Stoga je predsjednik Hrvatske inicijatorima otvorenog pisma predložio da se zatraži status kandidata za članstvo u EU-u i za Bosnu i Hercegovinu i Republiku Kosovo te da EU, nakon višekratnih obećanja, odmah započne pregovore o članstvu s Republikom Sjevernom Makedonijom i Republikom Albanijom, koje već imaju status kandidata. Smatra i da je potrebno ubrzati pregovore s Crnom Gorom.
”Što se tiče Srbije tiče, u ovom, za europski mir, važnom trenutku, ta se država mora odlučiti želi li stvarno članstvo u EU-u ili ne i prema tome voditi svoju politiku. EU joj mora dati do znanja da je ovo trenutak odluke”, navode u priopćenju s Pantovčaka, prenio je Dnevnik.hr.
