Minimalan poraz BiH u Španiji
Malo je falilo da fudbalska reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine neporažena napusti Las Palmas u meču protiv Španije. Imali smo neriješen rezultat na stadionu Gran Canaria sve do 78. minute kada je rezervista Mendez postigao jedini pogodak na meču – 1:0. Na taj način okončana je i impresivna serija Roberta Prosinečkog na klupi Zmajeva, koji u prethodnih devet susreta nije znao za poraz.
Istina, Furija je protiv Zmajeva nastupila u kombinovanom sastavu, ali, kako god, Zmajevi su odigrali solidan meč protiv višestrukog evropskog i svjetskog prvaka i upisali su minimalan poraz tek u finišu meča.
Meč je počeo svečano. Početni udarac izveo je David Silva, koji se nakon 125 utakmica u dresu Furije zvanično oprostio od dresa španske reprezentacije.
Prvih 45 minuta proteklo je u terenskoj dominaciji domaćih, no, osim posjeda lopte (66-34 posto), Španci nisu ni u jednom parametru bili bolji tim od bh. selekcije u prvom dijelu meča u Las Palmasu.

Španci su prvu priliku propustili u 16. minuti, kada je silovito šutirao Marco Asensio, ali je njegov udarac u posljednji trenutak izblokirao Bičakčić. Nekoliko trenutaka poslije pokušao je i Isco, ali je bio neprecizan.
U 38. minuti nakon duge akcije našeg tima po desnoj strani, Višća je pokušao efektno petom, ali nije loptu najbolje zahvatio. Dvije minute poslije uzvratio je Isco, ali je Šehić bio siguran. Do kraja prvog dijela prijetio je Džeko, te Asensio na drugoj strani, ali se rezultat nije mijenjao.
U drugo poluvrijeme domaći su bolje ušli. Cimirot je izgubio bespotrebno loptu, a Morata iz izledne prilike šutirao preko gola.
Uzvratili su Zmajevi u 52. minuti. Edin Džeko se fantastično zagradio i poslao loptu na desnu stranu prema Edinu Višći. Fudbaler Basaksehira u trku je sjajno uposlio Krunića, koji je zamalo zakasnio i sjajna prilika otišla je u nepovrat. Najbolju priliku na utakmici propustio je Morata u 58. minuti. Šehić je fantastično odbranio udarac Asensia, a na loptu je natrčao Morata i promašio prazan gol.
I onda, ta nesretna 78. minuta. Isco je potegao sa distance, Šehić odbranio, a Mendez odbijenu loptu pospremio u mrežu Zmajeva. No, uprkos porazu, Zmajevima se nema šta zamjeriti…
