Muslimani dan rođenja Muhammeda a.s. obilježavaju učenjem mevluda
Muslimani širom svijeta danas obilježavaju dan mevluda, odnosno dan rođenja Muhammeda a.s, koji su u islamskoj tradiciji obilježava 12. rebiu-l-evvela po lunarnom, hidžretskom kalendaru. Dan mevluda je jedan od najradosnijih dana za muslimane, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Posljednji Božiji poslanik Muhamed rođen je u ponedjeljak, 12. rebiu'l-evvela, trećeg mjeseca muslimanskog kalendara, 571. godine po Isau. Ove godine 12. rebiu-l-evvel pada na današnji danas, 9. novembra.
Muslimani dan rođenja Muhammeda a.s. obilježavaju učenjem mevluda. Termin mevlud označava rođenje, ali je vremenom njegovo značenje znatno prošireno, te se svaka vjerska manifestacija na kojoj se okupi veliki broj muslimana naziva mevludom.
Rođenje Božijeg Poslanika bilo je inspiracija pjesnicima da napišu spjevove – mevlude u kojima kroz stih opisuju vrijeme u kojem se rodio Muhammed, a.s., njegovu majku Aminu i dr. Takve spjevove napisali su Šemsudin Sarajlić, Hafiz Salih Gašević, Hafiz Ibrahim Zenunović, dr. Safvet-beg Bašagić, Rešad Kadić, Ešref Kovačević i drugi.
Sinoć je nakon jacija-namaza u Carevoj džamiji u Sarajevu upriličena svečanost povodom rođenja poslanika Muhammeda a.s.
Osim mevluda na kojima se okupi veliki broj vjernika organiziraju se i porodični mevludi u različitim dobima godine, a ne samo 12. rebiu-l-evvela.
Dan mevluda je jedan od najradosnijih dana za muslimane jer poslanikovo rođenje predstavlja početak ispunjenja duhovne zrelosti čovječanstva. Tokom učenja mevluda, kao i tokom cijelog mjeseca rebiu-l-evvela muslimani donose salavate, blagoslove na Muhammeda a.s.
