MVP Saudijske Arabije: Ponovo uspostavljeni diplomatski odnosi s Katarom

Ministar vanjskih poslova Saudijske Arabije Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud saopćio je kako su na 41. samitu Vijeća za saradnju zemalja Zaljeva (GCC), uspostavljeni diplomatski odnosi Katara i zemalja koje su Dohi uvele embargo, te da je embargo ukinut, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).

Bin Farhan i generalni sekretar GCC-a Mubarak Al-Hajraf na zajedničkoj konferenciji za medije izvijestili su o Deklaraciji iz Al-Ule, koju su na samitu potpisali lideri zemalja, čime je okončana kriza u Zaljevu.

Bin Ferhan je kazao kako da nije bilo inicijative Kuvajta i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, ne bi bili ostvareni ciljevi današnjeg samita.

“Deklaracija iz Al-Ule je potvrdila snažne odnose, te je upućen poziv za njihovo ponovno jačanje i poštivanje komšijskih odnosa. Koliko god bilo razilaženja u mišljenjima u Zaljevu, uz mudrost lidera one mogu biti prevaziđene”, rekao je on.

Kroz deklaraciju je naglašeno zajedništvo zaljevskih zemalja pred bilo kakvim direktnim ili indirektnim miješanjem u unutrašnje poslove.

Saudijski ministar je kazao i kako je nakon pomenute deklaracije i samita ukinut embargo Kataru.

”Samitom GCC-a okončane su nesuglasice s Katarom i ponovo uspostavljeni diplomatski odnosi”, rekao je Bin Ferhan.

Generalni sekretar GCC-a Hajraf naglasio je kako je današnji samit, s aspekta GCC-a, od historijskog značaja.

”To što je i Egipat potpisnica ovog sporazuma pokazatelj je povjerenja Kaira i Zaljeva”, istakao je on.

Na 41. samitu GCC-a održanom u Al-Uli, u Saudijskoj Arabiji, lideri su potpisali završnu izjavu. Jedan od gostiju koji su privukli najviše pažnje bio je katarski emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani kojeg je, u ime domaćina, na aerodromu dočekao saudijski prijestolonasljednik Mohammed bin Salman.

Samitu su prisustvovale i delegacije Bahreina, Omana, Kuvajta, Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, Sjedinjenih Američkih Država i Egipta.
