Nakon 86 godina klanjana prva džuma u Aja Sofiji, prisustvovao i Erdogan

Prvi džuma-namaz nakon 1935. godine održan je u istanbulskoj Aja Sofiji. Bivša crkva i muzej, po novom ponovo i džamija, privukla je hiljade vjernika, a među njima bio je i predsjednik Turske Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Prije klanjanja džuma-namaza Fatihu je proučio i sam Erdogan, što možete pogledati na snimku CNN Turk.

Turske vlasti su 10. jula poništile odluku nekadašnje vlade te zemlje kojom je 24. novembra 1934. godine Aja Sofiji dodijeljen status muzeja. Činom poništenja pomenute odluke Aja Sofiji je vraćen status džamije.
