NATO: Dodik potkopava Dejton, spriječit ćemo rušenje OS BiH
Generalni sekretar NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg obratio se danas novinarima nakon dvodnevnog sastanka ministara vanjskih poslova država članica NATO-a u Rigi.
Na samom početku, Stoltenberg je potcrtao stalnu agresivnu i destabilizirajuću politiku Rusije prema njenim susjedima i okupljanje snaga na granici.
– Mi pratimo da ne dođe do eskalacije. Ministri su jasno rekli – u slučaju buduće agresije, to će skupo koštati i imati teške ekonomske posljedice po Rusiju – rekao je Stoltenberg.
Ističe da su Gruzija i Ukrajina bliski partneri NATO-a već dugo vremena, te da podržavaju NATO misije i nastoje biti NATO članice.
– Ministri su jasno rekli da se mi držimo naših odluka. Naša podrška suverenitetu i teritorijalnom integritetu je neupitna, posvećeni smo jačanju naše podrške objema tim zemljama. Također, jačamo mogućnosti da se i same odbrane, obučavamo ih, razmjenjujemo informacije i dajemo im ogromnu podršku – kazao je Stoltenberg.
Na posljednjoj sesiji učesnicima sastanka pridružili su se, kako je rekao, Finska, Švedska i visoki predstavnik EU za vanjsku i sigurnosnu politiku Josep Borrell. Razgovarano je sigurnosti i stabilnosti o Zapadnom Balkanu, “jer je region postigao mnogo od sukoba iz 90-ih, ali vidimo da se ponovno javljaju tenzije na Kosovu i u BiH, sa agresivnijom retorikom, ukradenim reformama i stranim akterima koji potkopavaju napredak.
– NATO će nastaviti da promovira stabilnost, bezbjednost i saradnju u regionu. Dogovorili smo se o važnosti našeg prisustva, uključujući i našu misiju KFOR-a i naše službenike u Beogradu i Sarajevu. Naša saradnja s EU je ključna i nastavit ćemo da zajednički radimo, da očuvamo stabilnost i osiguramo podršku za reforme – rekao je Stoltenberg.
Odgovarajući na pitanja novinara vezano za situaciju u Bosni i Hercegovini, naglasio je da NATO snažno podržava integritet BiH.
– NATO tamo ima svoju historiju. Devedesetih smo došli u BiH, zaustavili smo brutalni rat i od tada je NATO u BiH. Blisko sarađujemo i s EU i o tome razgovaramo s našim partnerima iz zapadne Evrope – Švedskom, Finskom. I s komesarom Borrellom smo razgovarali o tome, da vidimo šta se dešava u BiH.
Naravno, brine nas agresivna retorika gospodina Dodika. Njegova zapaljiva retorika potkopava Dejtonski sporazum i napore za izgradnju stabilne, multietničke BiH. NATO će nastaviti sa svojom podrškom, sa jačanjem kapaciteta, sa provedbom reformi. Jedna od nekoliko multietničkih institucija jesu Oružane snage i to je uspješna priča NATO-a.
Pomogli smo da se izgrade kao jedna obučena multietnička institucija i mi ćemo učiniti sve što je u našoj moći da spriječimo sve ono što ih može potkopati. Jer nama trebaju multietničke državne institucije, uključujući i Oružane snage. I dalje ćemo pratiti šta se dešava u BiH – poručio je Stoltenberg.
