Bh. taekwondosita Nedžad Husić prvak je Evrope za mlađe seniore, odnosno u uzrastu od 21 godine.
Husić je bio fenomenalan na prvenstvu Starog kontinenta, a do zlatne medalje stigao je pobjedom nad danskim predstavnikom Edijem Hrnićem.
Mladi Sarajlija je prije toga ostvario još četiri pobjede. Prvo je porazio turčina Yigithana Kilica, zatim Francuza Bassema Amrija, a naredni je bio Nijemac Leono Kaplanom.
Pretposljednja prepreka do finala bio je ruski takmičar Artem Mytarev, da bi u finalu bio bolji od Hrnića rezultatom 4:2.
Inače, danas je Bosna i Hercegovina osvojila još jednu medalju. Ejla Makaš je bila bronzana.
