Veliki preokret na vanrednom sastanku u Njemačkoj, Angela Merkel: ‘Napravila sam pogrešku‘
Njemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel izjavila je danas da poništava odluku o striktnom zatvaranju tokom uskršnjih praznika.
Ona je rekla da je to bila greška i da ideja nije praktična.
“Ideja o zatvaranju tokom Uskrsa osmišljena je sa najboljim namjerama”, rekla je Merkelova i dodala da je plan sastavljen na brzinu i da se ne može primijeniti za tako kratko vrijeme.
Ona je napomenula da je to bila “samo njena greška”.
Merkelova se na jučerašnjem sastanku sa liderima pokrajina zalagala za strože mjere i odbacila plan o postepenom otvaranju ekonomije, koji je bio usaglašen ranije ovog mjeseca.
Premijeri pokrajina su joj se suprotstavili, a sastanak je potrajao do ranih jutarnjih sati. Dogovoreno je da građani ostanu kod kuća u periodu od pet dana oko Uskrsa da bi se suzbio treći talas epidemije.
Poslovni lideri su saopštili da će zbog zatvaranja biti u gubicima, a medicinski stručnjaci kažu da te mjere nisu dovoljne da se spriječi eksponencijalni rast infekcije.
S druge strane, sve je veće nezadovoljstvo njemačkih građana strogim mjerama, a vladajuća Merkelina Kršćansko-demokratska unija(CDU) bilježi snažan pad popularnosti uoči izbora predviđenih za oktobar.
