Njemački ministar: Neće biti lockdowna prije Božića
Njemački ministar zdravlja Karl Lauterbach odbacio je danas mogućnost uvođenja lockdowna prije Božića, ali je upozorio da peti talas pandemije koronavirusa više ne može da se zaustavi i podržao obaveznu vakcinaciju kao jedini način da se zaustavi pandemija.
“Ovdje neće biti zatvaranja prije Božića. Prešli smo kritičan broj infekcija omikron sojem koronavirusa”, rekao je ministar Lauterbach za ARD, dodajući da se ovaj talas pandemije korona virusa više ne može u potpunosti zaistaviti, prenosi agencija Reuters.
Vladin naučni savjetodavni panel saopćio je danas da je neophodno dodatno ograničiti kontakt među ljudima, a dosadašnji podaci pokazuju da sama buster doza vakcine ne bi bila dovoljna da se obuzda širenje virusa.
“Vjerujem da ovo možemo pobijediti obaveznom vakcinacijom. To je moje jasno uvjerenje”, poručio je Lauterbach, prenosi Tanjug.
Prema posljednjim vladinim podacima, gotovo 70 posto njemačkog stanovništva je u potpunosti vakcinisano protiv koronavirusa. Njemačka je registrovala novih 29.348 slučajeva korona virusa i 180 smrtnih ishoda, prema podacima Instituta za zarazne bolesti Robert Koch.
Broj novih dnevnih slučajeva znatno je porastao u oktobru i novembru, ali polako opada od početka mjeseca, navodi Reuters.
