Održana svečana sjednica i niz drugih događaja povodom 22. oktobra-Dana Grada Gradačac
Svečanu sjednicu Gradskog vijeća Grada Gradačac koja je organizovana u povodu 22. oktobra – Dana Grada Gradačac otvorio je predsjedavajući Hajrudin Mehanović. U svom izlaganju čestitao Dan Grada Gradačac svim građankama i građanima Gradačca.
Prisutnima na svečanoj sjednici se obratio i premijer Tuzlanskog kantona Kadrija Hodžić koji je istakao da Vlada TK za svaku lokalnu zajednicu želi da da maksimalni doprinos i da radi na ravnomjernom razvoju cijelog kantona. Neki od podržanih projekata u proteklom periodu od strane Vlade TK jesu rekonstrukcija Kulturnog centra kao i Vatrogasnog doma u Gradačcu. Od infrastrukturnih projekata jeste podršku u izgradnji regionalnih putnih pravaca između Gradačca i drugih općina. Na kraju svog izlaganja premijer TK je čestitao svim građankama i građanima Dan Grada Gradačac.
Nakon uvodonog obraćanja predsjedavajućeg Gradskog vijeća Grada Gradačac kroz videoprezentaciju predstavljeni su rezultati rada Gradonačelnika i Gradskog vijeća Gradačac.
Gradonačelnik mr. sci Edis Dervišagić se osvrnuo na film gdje su prikazani najznačajniji realizovani infrastrukturni projekti u periodu između dva oktobra. Podsjetio je da 22. oktobra 1992. godine, agresori su pokušali zauzeti Gradačac i «OKLOPNIM VOZOM» koji je specijalno pripreman za tu namjenu. Naši heroji zaustavili su tu namjeru i načinili prekretnicu u odbrani. Općinsko vijeće općine Gradačac, je svojom Odlukom proglasilo ovaj Dan za DAN OPĆINE /GRADA GRADAČAC, kako bi 22. oktobar, nove generacije podsjećalo na zlo koje nam se spremalo, kako bi se pamtile i cijenile žrtve onih koji su svojim srcem, dijelovima tijela i životima, stvorili nam uslove za bolju budućnost.
„Uvjeren sam na osnovu dosadašnjeg rada i postignutog stvarnih i realnih pretpostavki da ovaj grad svojim građanima može pružiti prosperitet, perspektivu i evropsku budućnost i dozvolite da još jedanput svim građanima i prijateljima uputim čestitke povodom Dana grada Gradačac sa nadom da ćemo naredno obilježavanje dočekati sa još većim uspjesima i svemu onome što nas čini sretnim i zadovoljnim“.
Običaj i tradicija nalaže da se na Dan Grada Gradačac zahvalimo pojedincima i kompanijama koji su svojim aktivnim učešćem doprinijeli povećanju vrijednosti i promocijii Gradačca. Gradsko vijeće je na 8. redovnoj sjednici donijelo Odluku o dodjeli gradskih priznanja za 2021. godinu.
- PRIZNANJE “ZLATNI GRB GRADA” dodijeljeno je posthumno rahmetli Muhamedu Begi Gradaščeviću,
- PLAKETA “ZLATNI ZMAJ” ove godine dodijeljena je našem sugrađaninu gospodinu Huseinu Jukanu, i privrednom subjektu “Rajčanka” d.o.o. Gradačac.
- PRIZNANJE “POČASNI GRAĐANIN” je dodijeljeno bivšem Gradonačelniku našeg partnerskog Grada Sivasa gospodinu Doğan Ürgüpu.
Prije početka današnje svečane sjednice otvorena je i dokumentarna izložba „ Bitka za Oklopni voz 22.10.1992. Gradačac“ u saradnji s Savezom boračkih organizacija grada Gradačac i Muzeja Istočne Bosne u Tuzli uz finansijsku podršku Vlade TK i Grada Gradačac.
Na kraju ove Svečane sjednice predsjedavajući Gradskog vijeća je još jednom uputio čestitke svim ovogodišnjim laureatima, a ostalim prisutnim zahvalnost što ste svojim dolaskom uveličali našu zajedničku svečanost. „Ovim putem želim još jednom da uputim iskrene čestitke građanima grada Gradačac u povodu Dana Grada Gradačac, Udruženju dobitnika najviših ratnih priznanja i odlikovanja čestitam Dan “Zlatnih ljiljana”.
Prije početka svečane sjednice danas su brojne delegacije odale počast i položile cvijeće na Centralnom spomen obilježju kao i na Spomen obilježju palim borcima Narodnooslobodilačke borbe ’41.-’45. Nakon toga delegacije su posjetile “Vojno mezarje” u Mionici III, spomen obilježje “Zlatnih ljiljana”, spomen obilježje na Požarikama i spomen obilježju “Križ”.
Zvanične delegacije su također posjetile i Oklopni voz u Ledenicama a za dobitnike najvećih ratnih priznanja Grada Gradačac upriličen je i prijem kod Gradonačelnika. Tim povodom gradonačelnik je svim prisutnima uputio najiskrenije čestitke za Dan “Zlatnih ljiljana”.
Proteklih dana u sklopu programa obilježavanja 22. 0ktobra- Dana Grada Gradačac s posebnom pažnjom smo se prisjetili ovog značajnog datuma za naš Grad. U organizaciji Saveza boračkih organizacija grada Gradačac održana je manifestacije pod nazivom “Rađanje slobode” i tim povodom obilježena godišnjica oslobodilačke akcije “Istok 94” i “Bitka za Oklopni voz”.
