Održana svečana sjednica povodom Dana državnosti BiH
Jučer je održana svečana sjednica Gradskog vijeća Grada Gradačac povodom 25. novembra – Dana državnosti Bosne i Hercegovine.
Sjednicu je otvorila zamjenica predsjedavajućeg Gradskog vijeća Fatima Ibranović-Hadžimehić i uputila je prisutnima, svim građanima Gradadačca i cijele BiH čestitke povodom Dana državnosti Bosne i Hercegovine . Naglasila je da „ prije 78 godina, 25. novembra 1943. godine u Varcar Vakufu ( Mrkonjić Gradu ) Bosna i Hercegovina na Prvom zasjedanju ZAVNOBiH-a, nakon 480 godina obnovila svoju državnost utemeljenu na ravnopravnosti njenih naroda i građana“.
Gradonačelnik Edis Dervišagić je također čestitao Dan državnosti Bosne i Hercegovine i istakao historijski značaj odluka prvog zasjedanja ZVNOBiH-a te dodao „ da danas više nego ikada značajno istknuti tekovine borbe naših predaka koji su se borili za našu Bosnu i Hercegovinu i protiv fašizma “.
Prigodan referat je pročitala profesorica historije Amra Hasić a s muzičkim numerama i recitalima predstavili su se mladi iz Dječijeg i omladinskog teatra Gradačac i Paralelne muzičke škole Gradačac.
Prije početka svečane sjednice delegacije Grada Gradačac, boračkih udruženja i političkih stranaka odale su počast i položile cvijeće na spomen obilježja žrtvama fašističkog terora i poginulim borcima NOR-a i šehidima, palim borcima i civilnim žrtvama Odbrambeno-oslobodilačkog rata.
Napominjemo da je uloga stanovništva Gradačca u Narodnooslobodilačkoj borbi bila velika budući da je 1005 boraca s ovog područja učesvovala u borbi i da je 315 mladih života ugrađeno u temelje slobode i borbe protiv fašizma.
