Ministarstvo vanjskih poslova Palestine upozorilo je na to da Izrael koristi holokaust kako bi prikrio svoje zločine nad palestinskim narodom i okupaciju arapskih teritorija, prenosi Anadolu Agency (AA).
Palestinsko ministarstvo je pozvalo učesnike 5. Svjetskog foruma o holokaustu, koji se danas održava u Jerusalemu, da budu oprezni s “političkim kontekstima koje Izrael ovom prilikom pokušava iskoristiti”.
“Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu i lideri okupacije koriste forum kako bi prikrili pravo lice Izraela koji okupira teritoriju druge zemlje, naseljava se tamo i nad palestinskim narodom čini najstrašnije zločine, koji su dostigli nivo ratnih zločina i zločina protiv čovječnosti”, navodi se u saopštenju.
Palestinsko ministarstvo dodaje da međunarodna zajednica “mora dobro obratiti pažnju na patnje palestinskog naroda koji je pod okupacijom”.
Tom prilikom, ministarstvo je ponovo osudilo holokaust.
Najmanje 40 političkih lidera učestvuje na 5. Svjetskom forumu o holokaustu koji se danas održava u Zapadnom Jerusalemu. Među visokopozicionirim zvaničnicima su predsjednik Rusije Vladimir Putin, njegov francuski kolega Emmanuel Macron, potpredsjednik Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Mike Pence i mnogi drugi.
