Saga o njegovom eventualnom prelasku u novi klub danas je okončana. Čelnici Barcelone zajedno s trenerom Xavijem donijeli su odluku o njegovom ostanku na Camp Nou stadionu, ali nije sama Barcelona odlučivala, o nekim stvarima je odlučivao i sam Miralem Pjanić ali obje strane su na kraju postigle dogovor na obostrano zadovoljstvo.
Stručni štab posebno je istakao uzorno ponašanje reprezentativca BiH, kao i razumijevanje Barceloninog stila igre. Također, trener Xavi i njegovi pomoćnici objasnili su da će Pjanić prema trenutnoj situaciji biti zamjena za Busquetsa što ne znači da će tako i ostati.
Treba napomenuti kako se bh. veznjak odrekao dobrog dijela plaće da bi ostao u Barceloni. Naime, Pjanić ima bruto platu ca. 15 miliona eura. Kada se oduzme porez ta plata na godišnjem nivou je oko 7,5 miliona eura neto. Pristankom na smanjenje Pjanić bi na godišnjem nivou zarađivao nešto manje od pet miliona eura neto.
Još treba dodati da je trener Xavi Hernández ugodno iznenađen Pjanićevim nastupom u predsezoni! Katalonski trener vidi reprezentativca BiH kao savršenu nadopunu u veznom redu i računa na njega u narednoj sezoni.
Ostankom Pjanića na Camp Nou stadionu, žrtva će biti fudbaler Nico koji će biti poslan na pozajmicu!
