Počinje nova era u Džekinoj karijeri: Edin danas debituje u napadu Intera
Kapiten reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine Edin Džeko danas okreće novi list u svojoj bogatoj karijeri budući da se očekuje kako će ubilježiti svoj zvanični debi u dresu novog kluba – Intera.
Nerazzurri na domaćem terenu stadiona Giuseppe Meazza dočekuju Genovu i prema pretpostavkama svih italijanskih medija Džeko bi trebao zauzeti mjesto u vrhu napada milanske ekipe.
Tome u prilog ide i činjenica da je trenutno prva zvijezda i najskuplji nogometaš ekipe napadač Lautaro Martinez van konkurencije zbog prikupljenih žutih kartona još iz prošle sezone.
Interov trener Simone Inzaghi ne može računati ni na čileanskog napadača Alexisa Sancheza koji ima povredu mišića pa će se gotovo sigurno osloniti na Džeku koji je još prošlog vikenda zauzeo mjestu u prvom sastavu u generalnoj probi prvaka Italije uoči početka nove sezone.
Upravo je pomenuta generalka bila okidač da se prošle subote okonča trakavica između Džeke i bivšeg kluba Rome koja je nastala zbog spornih posljednjih plaća. Na kraju je Edin popustio u želji da se što prije priključi novom klubu budući da je ostalo vrlo malo vremena do početka sezone.
Džeko je na generalnoj probi protiv kijevskog Dinama postigao pogodak i nagovijestio ono što će od njega svi očekivati u slavnom milanskom klubu. Iako ima 35 godina, čelnici Intera i stručni štab su procijenili kako naš napadač može biti dostojna zamjena za Romelua Lukakua kojeg su morali prodati u Chelsea.
Edin će pokušati nastaviti svoj golgeterski niz koji je imao u svim ekipama u kojima je prethodno igrao, a s Interom je potpisao ugovor do juna 2023. godine.
Inače, Inter u novu sezonu ulazi s dosta ambicija iako su klub napustili Lukaku i Achraf Hakimi. Širina i kvalitet igračkog kadra sugerišu kako će Nerazzurri biti ponovo glavni kandidati za titulu zajedno s Juventusom. S druge strane, današnji rival Genoa ima daleko skromniji sastav i prema projekcijama medija ove sezone im slijedi borba za opstanak u društvu najboljih italijanskih ekipa.
Utakmica između Intera i Genove igra se danas u 18:30 sati na stadionu Giuseppe Meazza, a direktan televizijski prijenos je osiguran na kanalima Arene Sport.
