Podržao sankcije Rusiji, Orban: “Vrijeme je da budemo ujedinjeni,ovo je rat”

Čelnici EU-a složili su se oko novih sankcija koji će pogoditi više sektora u Rusiji nakon njezina općeg napada na Ukrajinu.

Mađarska će podržati sve sankcije protiv Rusije koje je donijela Europska unija i neće ništa blokirati, rekao je u subotu premijer Viktor Orban, obrativši se novinarima s ukrajinsko-mađarske granice.

– Sve o čemu se premijeri EU-a dogovore mi prihvaćamo i podupiremo – kazao je Orban. 

– Vrijeme je da budemo ujedinjeni, ovo je rat – rekao je mađarski premijer, dodavši da je najvažnije poduzeti mirovne napore.

Ministri vanjskih poslova država EU-a u petak su usvojili drugi paket sankcija protiv Rusije zbog agresije na Ukrajinu, uključujući i zamrzavanje imovine predsjednika Vladimira Putina i ministra vanjskih poslova Sergeja Lavrova te izrazili spremnost za dodatne mjere ako se situacija ne promijeni.

Dan ranije, u četvrtak, čelnici EU-a složili su se oko novih sankcija koji će pogoditi više sektora u Rusiji nakon njezina općeg napada na Ukrajinu.

– Europsko vijeće danas se slaže o daljnjim restriktivnim mjerama koje će Rusiji nametnuti goleme i teške posljedice za njezino djelovanje. Te sankcije obuhvaćaju financijski, energetski i transportni sektor, robu s dvojnom namjenom, kao i kontrolu izvoza i financiranje izvoza, viznu politiku, proširenje popisa sankcioniranih osoba i nove kriterije za uvrštenje na taj popis – kaže se u zaključcima samita.

Europske zemlje oklijevaju oko toga hoće li se Rusiji blokirati i pristup platnoj mreži Swift. Isključenje Rusije iz sustava koji koriste tisuće banaka nanijelo bi težak udarac ruskom bankovnom sustavu, uskraćujući bankama pristup novcu. No, vlade mnogih zemalja strahuju pak da bi naštetilo i njihovom gospodarstvu i tvrtkama jer bi izazvalo velike poremećaje u, primjerice, nabavi ruske nafte i plina.
