Prolaznici u Gorskom Kotaru na putu pronašli jednomjesečnog medu
Mladunče medvjeda staro manje od mjesec dana i teško tek oko dva kilograma pronađeno je na putu u Gorskom Kotaru.
Prolaznici su juče ujutro, pri prolazu uz magistralni put Karlovac–Rijeka, uočili mladunče smeđeg medvjeda bez majke, odgovorili su televiziji “RTL” iz Ministarstva poljoprivrede.
Na mjesto pronalaska su hitno izašli članovi Interventnog tima za sprovođenje Plana gospodarenja smeđim medvjedom u Republici Hrvatskoj i radnici Veterinarskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Zagrebu koji su izvršili pregled napuštenog mladunčeta, objašnjavaju iz Ministarstva.
Pregledom je utvrđeno da mladunac nije povrijeđen, star je oko mjesec dana i težak oko 2 kilograma. Tijekom jučerašnjeg dana i noći, mladunče je na odgovarajući način ostavljeno u blizini mjesta pronalaska zaštićeno od ostalih životinja i hladnoće kako bi pokušali da ga ponovo spoje s majkom, ali, nažalost, do toga nije došlo, dodaju u Ministarstvu.
“Kako se radi o izrazito maloj i mladoj životinji koja nije u mogućnosti samostalno preživjeti u prirodi, na razini Nacionalnog povjerenstva za izradu plana gospodarenja smeđim medvjedom u Republici Hrvatskoj donesena je odluka da se medvjedić privremeno premjesti i zbrine u Zoološkom vrtu grada Zagreba, koji ispunjava uvjete za provođenje poslova oporavilišta za divlje životinje, kako bi se pratio daljnji oporavak medvjedića do donošenja konačne odluke o trajnom zbrinjavanju ili eventualnom mogućem povratku u prirodu”, zaključuju iz Ministarstva.
