Protivnici antikovid restrikcija i vakcinacije provalili su u zgradu u Londonu gdje se nalazi nekoliko britanskih televizija.
Dok je stotine demonstranata protivnika vakcina hodalo ulicama grada, dio njih je probio obezbjeđenje kod sjedišta ITN-a, gdje se prave vijesti za televizije ITV, Channel 4 i Channel 5 i okupio se kod recepcije, prenosi beta.
Usmjerili su se na jednog voditelja i uzvikivali „Sad uzimaju našu djecu“, pošto je u Velikoj Britaniji vakcinacija proširena na uzrast od 16 do 17 godina.
Policija koja je pozvana, samo je saopštila da su demonstranti napustili zgradu kada su oni došli.
„Mi smo protiv masovnog testiranja sa sumnjivim PCR testovima i vakcinacije djece“, rekla je za AFP jedna demonstrantkinja.
Drugi demonstrant je rekao da masovni mediji samo govore o umrlim od kovida, a da niko nije javljao o smrtnom slučaju zbog vakcina.
Zgrada je tokom popodneva bila pod jakom policijskom zaštitom, javio je fotograf agencije AFP-a.
„Napadi na novinare zbog njihovih reportaža o korona virusu zabrinjavaju“, rekao je portparol ITN-a. „Te akcije su za posljedicu imale da spriječe novinare da nastave svoje aktivnosti sakupljanja informacija, što ITN čvrsto osuđuje“, dodao je on.
Početkom avgusta nekoliko desetina ljudi okupilo se da demonstrira ispred prostorija BBC-a na zapadu Londona. Policija ih je otjerala.
Vakcinacija protiv COVID-19 nije obavezna u Velikoj Britaniji gdje je antivakserski pokret vrlo ograničen, blizu 90 posto odraslih dobilo je najmanje jednu dozu vakcine.
