Prvi od dva koraka prema Euru: Zmajevi na Grbavici dočekuju Sjevernu Irsku!
Nogometna reprezentacija BiH večeras na stadionu Grbavica igra polufinalni susret baraža za odlazak na Evropsko prvenstvo 2021. godine protiv Sjeverne Irske, a eventualnom pobjedom Zmajevi će doći na samo korak od historijskog uspjeha.
Evropska nogometna asocijacija (UEFA) je 17. marta i službeno odgodila Evropsko prvenstvo 2020. za narednu godinu, a shodno toj odluci pomjeren je i baraž za smotru najboljih ekipa Starog kontinenta, koji je trebao biti održan krajem marta.
Umjesto toga, utakmice su se prvobitno trebale igrati u junu, međutim kako sezona ni mjesecima nakon toga nije nastavljena, UEFA je odlučila da će se utakmice baraža za odlazak na Evropsko prvenstvo igrati u oktobru i novembru ove godine.
Tako će naša reprezentacija prvi meč, odnosno susret polufinala, igrati protiv Sjeverne Irske na Grbavici, a ukoliko ostvarimo pobjedu, naš tim će igrati protiv boljeg iz duela Slovačke i Republike Irske i taj susret bi se trebao igrati u novembru.
