Putnička i manja teretna vozila saobraćaju obilaznicom oko tunela, dok se teretna vozila preko 7,5 tona (sa izuzetkom autobusa) usmjeravaju na alternativne pravce Mostar – Široki Brijeg – Posušje – Tomislavgrad – Kupres – Bugojno i Mostar – Sarajevo – Busovača – Novi Travnik – Bugojno.
