POKUŠAJ PUČA U VENECUELI
Predsjednik Venecuele Nicolas Maduro pozvao je narod na ulicu kako bi štitili domovinu i ustavni poredak. – Komandanti su izrazili posvećenost Ustavu.
Pozivam narod na ulicu da štiti domovinu i ustavni poredak – naveo je Maduro putem društvenih mreža, prenosi agencija Anadolija. Istakao je da je razgovarao s vojnim zapovjednicima, te dodao da vojska i dalje izražava punu odanost Ustavu i narodu.
– Pozivam narod na ulicu da zaštite mir, domovinu i ustavni poredak. Pobijedit ćemo! – kazao je predsjednik Venecuele. Američka administracija pružila je punu podršku pokušaju udara u Venecueli, predvođenog Juanom Guaidom koji se proglasio privremenim predsjednikom.
Potpredsjednik Sjedinjenih Američkih Država (SAD) Mike Pence, ministar vanjskih poslova Mike Pompeo i savjetnik za nacionalnu sigurnost u Bijeloj kući John Bolton u odvojenim izjavama pružili su punu podršku Guaidu i njegovim pristalicama. Pence je na društvenoj mreži Twitter Guaidu i njegovim pristalicama poručio kako pruža podršku.
Guaido je jutros objavio videoporuku koja je snimljena u zračnoj bazi u Caracasu, a oko njega su bili pripadnici venecuelanske vojske i privedeni aktivist Leopoldo Lopez. U trominutnoj video poruci Guaido je kazao da će vojnici koji izađu na ulice štititi ustav države.
Dan uoči najavljenih masovnih antivladinih protesta, Guaido je kazao kako je došao presudni čas. Venecuela je pogođena protestima od 10. januara, kada je predsjednik Nicolas Maduro položio zakletvu za drugi mandat nakon izbora koje je opozicija bojkotovala.
Napetost se dodatno povećala kada se opozicioni lider Juan Guaido 23. januara proglasio za privremenog šefa države, što su podržali SAD i mnoge europske i latinoameričke države.
Rusija, Turska, Kina, Iran, Bolivija i Meksiko podržavaju vlast venecuelanskog predsjednika Madura. (Agencije)
