Rasprava u Briselu: Odnosi Bošnjaka i Hrvata ključni
Visoki predstavnik međunarodne zajednice u BiH Christian Schmidt izrazio je u ponedjeljak u Bruxellesu nadu da bi u BiH uskoro moglo doći do dogovora o novom izbornom zakonu.
– Budući da ja nisam pregovarač, referiram se na neke od onih koji pregovaraju, koji su umjereni optimisti i mi trebamo uraditi sve da se taj optimizam pokaže realističnim – rekao je Schmidt novinarima nakon završetka sastanka vanjskopolitičkog odbora Europskog parlamenta, prenosi Hina.
Schmidt je na sastanku zatvorenom za javnost upoznao članove toga odbora sa stanjem u Bosni i Hercegovini. Prije njega, zastupnicima se obratio i šef Izaslanstva EU u BiH Johann Sattler.
Rekao je da je na sastanku s članovima vanjskopolitičkog odbora bilo riječi o utjecaju ruske agresije na Ukrajinu i o opasnosti od prelijevanje te krize na BiH i zapadni Balkan.
Hrvatski eurozastupnik Tonino Picula rekao je da se u raspravi iza zatvorenih vrata čulo da su odnosi u Federaciji BiH, to jest između Bošnjaka i Hrvata, ključni za cijelu Bosnu i Hercegovinu.
– Jer ako dođe do dogovora o novom izbornom zakonu i ako se taj zakon i provede tada ćemo moći reći da je BiH riješila jedno od pitanja koje doista trese same temelje države budući da izbori imaju smisla samo ako svi koji u njima sudjeluju osjećaju da njihov glas nešto vrijedi, da zaista biraju svoje predstavnike i da onda ti predstavnici rade za dobrobit zemlje – rekao je Picula.
Dodao je da je član Predsjedništva Milorad Dodik, koji je najavio preuzimanje ovlasti s državne razine na entitet Republiku Srpsku, u posljednje vrijeme nešto ublažio svoju retoriku, ali da i dalje nisu svi uvjereni da je promijenio svoje mišljenje.
Hrvatska zastupnica Željana Zovko rekla je da su ovakvi sastanci iznimno korisni kako bi se članovi vanjskopolitičkog odbora iz prve ruke informirali o stanju u BiH.
U utorak će se zastupnicima vanjskopolitičkog odbora obratiti povjerenik za proširenje Oliver Varhelyi.
Nakon toga, na otvorenoj sjednici, s članovima vanjskopolitičkog odbora razgovarat će članovi Predsjedništva BiH Željko Komšić, Šefik Džaferović i Milorad Dodik te predsjedatelj Doma naroda Parlamentarne skupštine BiH Dragan Čović.
