Respirator proizveden u Gradačcu certificiran u Britaniji
Zadovoljsto nam je objaviti da je Centar za testiranje i evaluaciju medicinskih uređaja (MD-TEC) završio testiranje prototipa mehaničkog ventilatora za upotrebu u intenzivnoj njezi koji je nedavno dizajnirala i napravila TMD Group d.o.o. Gradačac, uz upute Univerzitetskog kliničkog centra Tuzla.
MD-TEC je izradio detaljan izvještaj o funkcionalnosti i upotrebljivosti, tako da TMD Group sada radi na modificiranom prototipu, saopćeno je iz Ambasade Velike Britanije.
U martu 2020. godine, kao odgovor Vlade Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva na pandemiju COVID-19 i povećanu potrebu za ventilatorima i sličnim medicinskim uređajima, MD-TEC je postao odobreni centar za testiranje za program Vlade Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva “Ventilator Challenge”. Do danas, MD-TEC je vršio testiranja prototipa medicinskih uređaja koje su razvile kompanije iz cijelog svijeta.
Profesor Tom Clutton-Brock, klinički direktor MD-TEC okarakterisao je prototip TMD ventilatora kako slijedi:
“Uzimajući u obzir da TMD izvorno nije proizvođač medicinskih uređaja, ventilator postiže izuzetan nivo funkcionalnosti i upotrebljivosti. Zato se njihovi napori trebaju uzeti kao značajno dostignuće, te se radujemo nastavku rada sa njima u daljnjem procesu razvoja prototipa.”

Direktor TMD Group Adem Hanić je rekao: “Izuzetno sam ponosan na moj tim stručnjaka koji su razvili prototip ventilatora za tako kratko vrijeme, a koji je dobio pozitivne ocjene MD-TEC. Dok budemo radili na poboljšanjima, svjesni smo da smo pokrenuli sektor nove industrije u BiH – proizvodnju medicinskih uređaja. Za sljedeći korak, nadamo se da ćemo dobiti CE oznaku i početi sa širokom proizvodnjom. Paralelno s tim, sagledavamo mogućnosti razvoja i drugih medicinskih uređaja.”
“Izvještaj MD-TEC je zaista dobra vijest za TMD Group i za Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Kao što sam uvijek i govorio, Bosna i Hercegovina je zemlja pametnih i vrijednih ljudi kojima samo treba dati priliku. Izvorno finansiran iz Evropskog fonda za društvenu inovaciju i kolaborativnog partnerstva sa Univerzitetom u Birminghamu, te Univerzitetom Aston, MD-TEC je vrhunska laboratorija za testiranje u kliničkim uslovima, gdje se prototipi uređaja mogu testirati i procijeniti u svakoj fazi razvoja kako bi se osiguralo da odgovaraju namjeni, doprinose brizi za pacijente i da će u konačnici doprinjeti vrijednosti kliničkih usluga.
TMD Group d.o.o. sa sjedištem u Gradačcu proizvodi kovane metalne proizvode, te mašinski obrađene komponente ležajeve i druge visoko-precizne čelične komponente za primjenu u autoindustriji, željezničkoj i drugim industrijskim primjenama.
