Rusija je postala prva zemlja na svijetu koja je registrovala vakcinu protiv COVID-19, najavio je danas tokom sastanka Vlade predsjednik Vladimir Putin.
– Jutros je prvi put u svijetu registrovana vakcina protiv koronavirusa – rekao je Putin na sastanku sa članovima Vlade, prenose ruske agencije.
Putin je rekao, kako prenosi RT da je tu vakcinu primila i njegova kćerka. Ona je poslije primanja vakcine imala blagu temperaturu, ali je to brzo prošlo.
On je izrazio nadu da će uskoro početi masovna produkcija ove vakcine.
Putin je također zatražio od ministra zdravlja Mihaila Muraška da ga obavještava o vakcini, ali je istovremeno napomenuo da zna da “djeluje prilično efikasno” i “formira stabilan imunitet”.
Ruski predsjednik se dalje zahvalio svima koji su radili na prvoj vakcini protiv koronavirusa i opisao to kao “veoma važan korak za svijet”.
Prvu rusku vakcinu protiv koronavirusa zajednički su razvili istraživački institut Gamaleja i rusko ministarstvo odbrane.
Klinička ispitivanja vakcine pokrenuta su 18. juna i svih 38 dobrovoljaca je, prema saopštenjima, razvilo imunitet.
