Sastanak Bisere Turković i Erica Folkestada: BiH i NATO dijele snažno partnerstvo, potrebno ojačati i intenzivirati saradnju
Sagovornici su se usaglasili da je potrebno ubrzati aktivnosti na ispunjavanju preuzetih obaveza, koje se nalaze pred BiH. Tokom susreta je iskazana potreba i za snažniju podršku jačanju i unapređenju Oružanih snaga BiH.
Zamjenica predsjedavajućeg Vijeća ministara i ministrica vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine Bisera Turković i komandant NATO štaba u Sarajevu brigadni general Eric Folkestad razgovarali su o saradnji BiH i NATO-a.
Ministrica se zahvalila NATO štabu u Sarajevu za kontinuiranu podršku i pomoć zemlji, posebno za uspješnu saradnju s Oružanim snagama BiH, te istakla da BiH i NATO dijele snažno partnerstvo, s ciljem jačanja i intenziviranja saradnje.
Naglasila je da je Komisija za saradnju s NATO-om, koja je osnovana u februaru ove godine, usvojila Program reformi BiH 2020/2021, koji je dostavljen Vijeću ministara na razmatranje i usvajanje. Istakla je kako očekuje da će ovaj dokument što prije biti usvojen na sjednici Vijeća ministara BiH, te biti upućen u daljnju proceduru.
