Sjajne bh. dame u Skenderiji pobijedile Belgiju, Jones ubacila 44 poena
Ženska košarkaška selekcija BiH večeras je u Skenderiji u susretu prvog kola grupe A kvalifikacija za Eurobasket savladala Belgiju rezultatom 87:81.
Gošće, koje su bile treće na prethodnom Eurobasketu, su bile favoritkinje uoči susreta, ali bh. košarkašice (pete u Europi) su odličnom igrom stigle do velike pobjede.
Belgijanke su prvu četvrtinu dobile sa 19:20, a onda su naše košarkašice odigrale maestralno narednih 10 minuta i na poluvrijeme otišle sa prednošću od 51:39.
Jonquel Jones je na poluvremenu zabila čak 25 poena.
I u trećoj četvrtini izabranice Gorana Loje su igrale fenomenalno i nakon 30 minuta igre imale prednost od 73:49.
U posljednjoj četvrtini Belgijanke su iskoristile ležerniju igru bh. košarkašica i ublažile poraz.
Najefikasnija u našem timu bila je nevjerovatna Jonquel Jones sa 44 koša i 22 skoka.
Mate Tavić je dodala 17, a Nikolina Džeko i Miljana Džombeta su ubacile po šest koševa.
Spomenimo i da je BiH večeras bila oslabljena neigranjem ponabolje igrače Marice Gajić zbog povrede, dok su Belgijanke došle u najjačem sastavu.
U drugom susretu naše grupe Njemačka je na svom terenu pobijedila Sj. Makedoniju sa 73:41.
BiH u narednom kolu 14. novembra od 19,00 sati gostuje Sjevernoj Makedoniji.
