Muška košarkaška reprezentacija BiH večeras započinje svoj put u kvalifikacijama za Svjetsko prvenstvo, koje će se održati 2023. godine u Indoneziji, Japanu i FIlipinima.

No, to svakako ništa ne znači uoči večerašnjeg obračuna pod koševima Skenderije, ekipa pod palicom selektora Vedrana Bosnića je pokazala da se ne boji nikoga, što potvrđuju i sjajni rezultati u proteklom periodu te plasman na Eurobasket 2022.
“Ovi momci su otišli na Evropsko prvenstvo kada je malo ko mislio da će oni to uspjeti. Zaslužili su da napunimo dvoranu koliko možemo. Ako su to četiri hiljade, da onda bude četiri hiljade ljudi. I da dobiju taj pljesak, novu energiju i da nam pomognete svima da odigramo što bolju utakmicu i da probamo pobijediti”, kazao je Bosnić prije nekoliko dana na press-konferenciji.

“Radimo vrlo kvalitetno, imamo dobar intenzitet na treninzima. Zbog toga smo i došli ovdje – da se što bolje spremimo, damo sve od sebe i, nadam se, pobijedimo. Imamo neke informacije o Česima, ali ne bih unaprijed ništa o njima govorio dok ne stignu večeras u hotel i dok ne budemo sigurni sto posto u kakvom sastavu će nastupiti. U svakom slučaju, to je vrlo dobra ekipa. Trebamo se fokusirati na nas, kako ćemo mi igrati i izgledati u sutrašnjoj utakmici. Ako budemo na nekom svom kvalitetnom nivou, manje nas interesuje ko je s druge strane parketa“, istakao je Bosnić.
Selektor je također izrazio nadu da podrška publike sutra u Skenderiji neće izostati te naglasio kako je u ovom trenutku najmanje bitno koja ekipa će sutra imati ulogu favorita.
