Skupština Kosova izglasala Rezoluciju o osudi negiranja genocida u Srebrenici

U dokumentu se ističe da se radi o genocidu i prema presudi Međunarodnog krivičnog suda za bivšu Jugoslaviju od 19. aprila 1993. godine, kao i potvrdi istog suda od 26. februara 2007. godine, te definiciji genocida prema Konvenciji UN-a od decembra 1948. godine.
Na današnjem sastanku Skupštine Kosova izglasana je Rezolucija o osudi negiranja genocida u Srebrenici. Rezolucija je usvojena sa 89 zastupničkih glasova za.
Kosovski parlament je ovim oštro osudio genocid u Srebrenici, čime se suosjeća i iskazuje duboka tuga zbog nevinih žrtava koje su stradale u genocidu u Srebrenici tokom krvave agresije u Bosni i Hercegovini, i izražava saučešće preživjelim članovima porodice.
REZOLUCIJA ZASNOVANA NA ČINJENICAMA
U dokumentu se ističe da se radi o genocidu i prema presudi Međunarodnog krivičnog suda za bivšu Jugoslaviju od 19. aprila 1993. godine, kao i potvrdi istog suda od 26. februara 2007. godine, te definiciji genocida prema Konvenciji UN-a od decembra 1948. godine.
Skupština Kosova konstatuje i prihvata da su, nakon okupacije Srebrenice vojne snage VRS-a nekoliko dana vršile masakre u Srebrenici i okolini, ubijajući, masakrirajući više od 8.000 djece, odraslih muškaraca i maloljetnika.
U trenutku kada je predsjednik Skupštine Gljauk Konjufca najavio tačku o Nacrtu rezolucije o počinjenom genocidu u Srebrenici, poslanici Srpske liste i ministar Goran Rakić su napustili zasjedanje.
