Snijeg blokirao hiljade vozila na autoputu u Italiji
Hiljade vozila danas je zbog obilnog snijega ostalo blokirano u koloni dugoj 16 kilometara na glavnom alpskom autoputu koji povezuje sjeveroistočne djelove Italije sa Austrijom, Njemačkom i drugim oblastima sjeverne Evrope, a spašeno je 200 osoba koje su satima bile zaglavljene u automobilima i autobusima.
Autoput A22 blokiran je od ranih jutarnjih sati, a italijanski zvaničnici za blokadu krive kamione i automobile koji nisu bili opremljeni obaveznom zimskom opremom i lancima, a na putu ih je zatekla snježna oluja.
Portparol vatrogasno-spasilačke službe pokrajine Bolcano rekao je da je teško procijeniti koliko vozila ima u koloni, ali je naveo da ih ima “na hiljade”.
Prema njegovim riječima, vatrogasnim vozilima evakuirano je oko 200 osoba iz blokiranih vozila, u ledenim vremenskim uvjetima.
Zbog nevremena je više teških vozila koja nisu imala opremu za vožnju u zimskim uvjetima, proklizalo i naglo skrenulo s puta, blokirajući saobraćaj.
Jutros je lavina zatrpala isti autoput u Italiji, ali na toj deonici – koja vodi ka Brenerskom prevoju i dalje u Austriju – u tom trenutku nije bilo vozila.
Saobraćaj je donekle uspostavljen u kasnim popodnevnim satima, ali je veliki broj vozila i dalje zaglavljen. Nema podataka da je iko povrijeđen.
