Zbog velikog broja saobraćajnih nesreća na putevima je došlo do zastoja, a na stotine letova je otkazano.
Policija u Sjevernoj Karolini i Virdžiniji je saopštila da je od nedjelje bilo na stotine saobraćajnih udesa.
Guverner Sjeverne Karoline Roj Kuper je apelovao na građane da ne kreću na put i savjetovao im da ostanu kod kuće “upakuju neki poklon, okite jelku, odgledaju fudbalsku utakmicu”.
