Hamnei je zbog smrti Soleimanija proglasio trodnevnu žalost, a Washington Post piše kako će vlasti kasnije danas prenijeti tijelo generala u Mašdad, nakon čega će stići u Teheran i Kom, a u utorak će biti pokopan u rodnom gradu Kermanu.
