U drugom susretu večerašnjeg programa minhenski Bayern gostuje ekipi Villarreala.
Bayern je do četvrtfinala stigao preko Salzburga sa ukupnih 8:2. Prvi duel ova dva tima završen je bez pobjednika 1:1, dok su Bavarci u revanšu slavili sa ubjedljvih 7:1.
Najveću senzaciju u osmini finala priredili su fudbaleri Villarreala koji su eliminisali Juventus. Žuta podmornica je u revanš-utakmici u Torinu slavila sa 3:0 i sa ukupnih 4:1 prošla dalje.
Obje utakmice na rasporedu su u 21 sati.
